Best Dressed Guest
When the invite says "no black".
Summer wedding season is here! One of my best friends wedding’s is in two weeks and I have been scouring the internet for a gown to wear. Here’s what I found:
Somewhere between ditsy floral and distractingly bold you’ll find these printed gowns.
Sianna Red Floral - Hutch is one of the first brands I think of for bold, printed gowns and I adore the pleated bodice on this one. If you’re loving the cut, but not the print, it’s also available in solid blue.
Malina Floral Print Halter - Picture this in a tropical destination with white accessories, a sleek ponytail, and a colorful cocktail in hand.
Floral Embroidered - This was my second choice dress for the June wedding I mentioned earlier. I came back to it again and again, but decided on something just a bit more formal.
Phare Maxi - She’s a splurge, but she is 93% silk. A stripe can be hard to find, but this color palette is perfectly done. I can see this at a wedding on the Italian coast, a rooftop in Manhattan, and really, anywhere inbetween. There’s a midi version available too!
I confess, pastels are not for me.
Topshop One Shoulder Midi - This color with a tan is truly unbeatable and the cut is universally flattering.
Topshop Bubble Hem - It’s a garden party, you’re surrounded by gorgeous flowers and lush greenery.
Alessia Dress - Affordable, versatile, and she comes in multiple colors. I think orchid is my favorite (but I love it in clover too). Few Moda has a pretty great selection of affordable wedding guest dresses, I’m talking under $100, when you sign up for their membership.
Vincenta Dress - I am always here for a red wedding guest dress.
Clementine Maxi - Definition of a head turner. This gown shows just the right amount of skin in all of the right places.

Cheers,
Melissa
